Trick R Treat almost has this cult like following with only one problem, the movie still has yet to be released! It was shown in a film festival and at Screamfest LA in 08 but why not a release or even DVD? I've got some new names for this film. How about Trick R Trick? Or maybe Tease R Treat? The worst trick of them all was NECA putting out a 5" Sam collectible last December. So lets get this straight, there are nothing more than rumors about when this film is going to be released yet we go ahead and make and sell collectibles?

Maybe Neca is genius? This movie has a huge buzz in the horror community and Neca is simply capitalizing on the already cult like following Trick R Treat has.

Is this a big slap in the face to fans. Ha ha, you don't get the movie but we're going to tease you with merchandise for something you will never see!! Now obviously it's the first reason but as a potential fan of this film I kind of feel like we are all being laughed at.

Again, maybe this is all being done for a reason. WB might have thought this film wasn't strong enough for theaters originally then they caught wind of the demand so they are just waiting to build it up?

Trick R Treat Plot synopsis: Four interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: An everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the one guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband.

So in anticipation for the upcoming Trick R Treat film, NECA presents, Sam, the mysterious little Trick R Treater with a bone to pick. Sam stands at roughly 5 ½ inches tall and sports a bag of goodies you wouldn’t want ending up in your child’s candy pile.
