Michael Myers Beard Suggests No White Mask In H2
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this pic is pretty good evidence that the rumors are true, Michael Myers will not be wearing the white mask (for very long at least) in the upcoming sequel to 2007's Halloween remake. Several months back HorrorBid was one of the first sites that reported on this rumor and this photo helps support the theory. Read more for full image . . .
Follow up:
Look at the photo closely. The coveralls are stained with blood all over Tyler's right shoulder and the right side of his forehead is also covered in blood . . . the same location of the huge holes seen in Wayne Toth's sculpt that was released on Zombie's myspace page a while back.
So this could mean a lot of things however I seriously doubt that Tyler would be running around in that latex mask while sporting that huge beard. What am I saying? Remember that this has NOT been proved so we must treat it as speculation until Zombie releases more info - Since we know that H2 picks up right where the last one left off we'll see Myers with this torn up mask (since he was shot in the head) for the intro of the film but then soon after he looses it for a new mask or new look.
I'm sure this will be hard to stomach for many Halloween fans but you have to give Zombie the Balls of Iron award. However, this could end up being very cool and it's not the first time Myers has worn another mask (H5, H9). Again, not saying this theory is full proof but that pic sure does lead one to ask some interesting questions.
My explanation for Tyler's Beard? I'm thinking after Myers was shot he's in a coma and awakens about one year later to continue his obsession with Laurie (hey, the coma thing happened between H4 & H5). So if you wouldn't shave for a year you'd probably look like ZZ Top too.

Also in these new pics, notice these aren't the same type of carhartt coveralls used in the 2007 remake. These have the zipper pockets instead of the flaps. Also it seems the patches are missing. However, in the first pic of Tyler walking above the coveralls do seem to have the flap chest pockets.

I think he ends up with Tramers mask OR if it takes place a year later maybe theres masks out there of the now known serial killer Michael Myers. Cant wait to find out!
Part two could prove interesting to say the least.
Now, as for your coma's... You forgot about the longest coma of all... The coma that lasted from the end of part 2 until the beginning of part 4. Slept through an entire film! lol

Why doesn't Tyler just shave that thing off,it'll grow back.
Unless he'll have the mask off for half of the film and then wear it the rest of the film.
Who knows? I hope Rob Zombie will explain all this to us die hard fans who want Michael to wear a mask.
If you hate RZ and all that he does, then stop reading news about his movie and go rewatch your DVD copies of H1-8 in peace. For the rest, don't slam it until you've seen it. I seriously doubt he's gonna just have Myers running around with no mask the whole movie.
