The Infamous Darkside Studios "Roy" Mask

It's infamous and it hasn't even been released yet, now that's good marketing! I have to laugh a little as I type this because apparently ole Roy has become a bit of a lighting rod on several different horror forums. Either you're a "Roy" fan or you're not and if you are a fan like I am, you're praying that DarkSide Studios adds this to their 2009 lineup. This mask, sculpted by Jeremy Bohr was created based on the "Impostor" named Roy in the classic Friday the 13th Part 5 movie....

Follow up:

It's a big shot in the gut when you realize at the end of the film the guy you thought was Jason Voorhees is actually this copy cat killer named Roy. This mask is a very accurate rendition of what Roy looked like without the hockey mask in the fifth installment of the Friday the 13th film franchise. DarkSide Studios recently sold one of these and they are trying to decide if they should add this to their 2009 lineup. I think the answer is without a doubt yes. With Paul's talent and Jeremy's amazing sculpt this is a Jason's fans dream come true. Or should I say Roy. :-) Here are a few pics, paint scheme is always subject to change....

I'd love to pick one of these up.

Jeremy's Impostor Roy sculpt is the only Part 5 bust out there and he only made a handful of copies. As usual, Paul is making good quality collector pieces available to the average collectors who don't have hundreds of dolalrs to drop on a single piece.
