Paying tribute to the King of Pop is a new theme around here. Premier vinyl specialists "Hot Toys" has a new work up of a set of Michael Jackson figures, showcasing the masterful work exhibited on his famous Thriller music video....

The figures will come in a 1/6 scale, featuring all the intricate details one would come to expect from a Hot Toys release. A launch is set for December 2009 with a suggest retail price $255 USD. If your an action figure collector this is a must have plus it's MJ in full zombie garb, you just can't "beat it". (Mom are you proud? Your son truly is this corny!!!)

This was supposedly signed off by Michael Jackson before his death and therefore planned for production later this year to coincide with his upcoming "This is it" tour. Whether that is true or not I honestly could care less. It is about time we had a decent Thriller figure and this one looks to please everyone with it's lifelike look. It even comes complete with a ripped leather jacket, how cool is that? I can remember growing up and my sister actually had an old 80's Thriller MJ figure, I believe it came from a some set because I remember one having the white glove also. I loved that thing when I was growing up and it's great to see a new updated version finally coming out. This is another must have. Lucky it's due out right around Christmas time! (Mom if your still reading this after the corny "beat it" line, I want one of these for Christmas):-)
