Rob Zombie signed on for Halloween III?
This isn't just breaking news this is shocking news. According to several sources. Rob Zombie has agreed to work on a remake of Halloween 3. This will not be a continuation of the current series Halloween 1 and 2 (with Michael Myers) but a remake of the classic Halloween 3-Season of the Witch movie....
Follow up:
It has already been rumored that Bill Mosley will be playing the part of Dr. Challis and looks like Sid Haig as Cochran and Sherri Moon Zombie will be coming in as Ellie Greenbridge.

I'm a huge Halloween fan and when I saw the 3rd film when I was a kid I didn't know what to think. It has always been one of my least favorite Halloween films. It will be interesting to see what Rob does with this film. It would be cool to have a new set of Halloween films made by Zombie, the more I think about it. I'm sure he could do great things with 4 and 5 as well. It would be like haveing all the films through a different vision. This could be something cool!

well this could get intresting. But i dont think season of the witch should even be called halloween. Its not a true HAlloween movie. But still cross your fingers and hope to die, we are deff in for a treat

I on the other hand of the majority find this to be exciting. At least he is remaking one that does not involve the series. When you mess with an Icon such as Michael Myers, there's bound to be an uproar among the horror comunity. He is remaking the 3rd Installment, and it's more of it's own stand alone movie. So the way I see it, go for it!!! It's not like anything bad can come out of it. He's not messing with any huge icons. Anyway, This might actually be pretty kool... I can ONLY Imagen the twisted look of the new masks. You know they are going to be more adult and disturbing comming from Zombie...

Seeing as mostly only the simple-minded audience enjoyed his new Halloweens I don't see why he would remake H3 because it failed back in the day. So those who worship him now will only hate him...wait this could be a very godo idea. xD

GO THE HELL AWAY ROB ZOMBIE!!!!!! Please, someone take the skeleton keys away from RZ on the HALLOWEEN Franchise!! He has wrecked them in my opinion!! The sad thing is- that we are not going to get a reboot on the series for another 10-15 years!!

Zombie has done some amazing things with his movies!! He makes them more realistic like what's going on could really happen. Just like Darkartist81, the whole white trash appearance is actually a pretty good idea. If everybody looked like a friggin GQ model than how believable would his movies be?? As far as an H3, hell yea!!! It can't be any worse that the original!!

ok just to make one thing clear...if u seen the old halloween movies u remember at the end of the second he was taken away in the white van. But in the begining of the 4th hes in a morgue and wakes up. Now what the fuck does the shitty masks have to do with anything? why is it even related to halloween francise in the first place

Ight Rob Zombie has done really great remakes of the halloween franchise, i enjoyed them just as much of the originals but remaking this movie might improve what garbage the original was, but i wouldve loved to see a remake of 3 with micheal myers, like the story that happened between halloween 2 & 4, so dont disappoint me with this one Rob Z, like the original did.

I hate the Season of the Witch. It sux! I wish that a continuation would be made because that would be so much better to see Laurie become the killer just like in the DEVIL'S EYES comic book. No remake of Season of the Witch, I'm sorry. Try a new storyline.

Oh no! I was looking foward to seeing another remake with michael myers in it (Hoping it would be better than his new H2) But if its not going to have Michael in it and it will just be a remake of season of the witches, then thats just not going to be worth watching. Great artical though.

I think that i would be cool if he found a way to bring Michael Myers back or something like that because he needs to make H3 his own movie. it would be easy to recreate halloween 3 season of the witch because its already shot frame by frame. if he is going to go through with then i say "Rob, make it your own movie."

I'm one of maybe six people who loved the original, so I say go for it, hell yeah, it won't hurt due to all the bad remakes that are out there. He needs to not call it Halloween III, keep that title open for when he carries on with Michael. This is a chance to do a remake right off a good idea.

I like zombies shit, but not when he shows myers.element of surprise thats key,showing him in a field with a fucking hood on is not.showing his face without a mask period is weak. showing him in a field walking with facial hair is not scary. keep his mask secret and distant you will win more awards.When he said DIE at the end of 2 I quit watching it and sherri is cool but come on,you can find another fucking actress
