Halloween 2 vs. The Final Destination
The wait is over. It's put up or shut up time. On the eve of what some are saying is the ending of two popular horror franchises we look to you the fans to decided what will win out in the end. Will Michael Myers tear up the box office or will The Final Destination have the last laugh? You decide!

I don't know. I am not really sure actually with these two. I want to see both. I am going to see H2 first but will see FD sometime this weekend. It's a tough call. Like Dave said you can't under estimate the whole bubble gum horror movies that are coming out now. The 3D is just another excuse for females (sorry ladies) to want to go see that. I am torn. I guess if someone pinned me down I would venture towards Final Destination.

I loved the new RealD technology that they used in MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3-D, so I'm looking forward to the new FINAL DESTINATION if for nothing else. But I was also one of the seemingly few who really dug what Zombie did with the HALLOWEEN source material in his reimagining, so this is at the top of the list, too.

and furthermore this thread angers me... How could anyone choose Final Destination which is nothing more than a pop culture cookie cutter crap film and then say they are disappointed by Zombies imaging??? What do you expect a gaping story line with trendy characters using popular lingo outwitting unexplained events and super hip soundtrack with Linkin Park and My Chemical ROmance... oh yeah, thats why you like Final Destination.

Halloween 2! I know for sure people have been waiting for this movie for a long time! The Final Destination doesn't even look that good. And Halloween has a bigger fan base. H2 all the way!

I don't know. I would want it to be H2, but movie audiences are idiots. Final Destination looks to be horrible, the actors are unknowns and entire premise has lost all credibility. My "crap movie" radar went off after the first trailer. Not to mention that it's another in a long line of films with retarded titles. First they take The Fast and The Furious sequel and call it "Fast and Furious" and now they take Final Destination and name a sequel The Final Destination. It's retarded. That's like naming a Freddy sequel... Elm Street or A Nightmare. H2 at least looks somewhat original and looks to have solid acting. TFD just looks like all fluff with no substance. But like I said... audiences these days are stupid as Hell.

I want H2 to be #1, but it looks like it's gonna be TFD. I've been looking at different box office websites, and TFD is in the lead of what people want to see this weekend. Halloween is actually using the story line to promote the film, while final destination is releying on the 3-D crap as the movies promotion, and even though 2007's halloween was flawed, it's better than anything final destination has ever offered. It actually had a story line, final destination is the same thing over and over, kid has preminiton of all his/her friends dying in some accident, kid saves friends, death starts killing them, and kid has to figure out the deathorder. Usually try to find a flaw in the plan, which in the end doesn't work and everyone dies.

I hope H2 HUMILIATES FINAL DESTINATION but I am ashamed to say but i think it might make more money then H2, but FUCK FINAL DESTINATION.... the halloween franchise are the most popular sequels EVER.... GO MICHAEL MYERS! ALL THE WAY BABY, ALL THE WAY..... CANT WAIT TILL THE MIDNIGHT SHOWING

H2! that final destination shit got old after the 2nd one. the newest one doesn't even look appealing, i mean seriously someone getting killed by a car wash? haha thats lame as hell. it just looks like it's filled with cg bullshit... oh and 3d? who the hell cares? i thought 3d was for kids movies and hannah montana! haha. oh well i guess we'll see, but i know that i am going to see H2 tomorrow, and will probably steal final destination off the internet.
