AOTD - Halloween Prop Knives

The Horrorbid Auction of the Day is featuring the Horror Prop Store's prop knives. 'Tis the season for costumes so if you're looking to slasher it up this Halloween why not pick up one of these beauts to complete your ensemble. Yeah, they look good but you've seen prop knives before right? Wait until you see the price!!!

Follow up:

For $20 this is a steal folks! It's hard enough to find reasonably priced, realistic prop knives that the trick 'r treaters won't laugh at these days. Plus (from experience) the Po Po don't appreciate it when you use the real deal.

Auction Description: Here's a Prop knife in time for Halloween. It's a full size 18 inch forschner knife just like the one used in the Rob Zombie Halloween remake. It can also be used with other Myers costumes. It's made out of sturdy wood and has a stained handle with rivets in it just like the real one. If you have any question please email me at horrorpropsstore@yahoo.com.

You can View the auction by clicking Here.

In the below picture the knife on the top is the real deal (for comparison).

Horror Props Store is also selling some other sweet stuff including their Harry Warden Pick Axes we reported on earlier HERE. Seems they're running the same deal with the Axes as last time, $100 (shipping included) for a signed Chris Carnel Pick Axe. Chris will be signing the Axes at Deathrow Sanitarium of Slaughter in Nashville TN. Be sure to check out Horror Props Store's other auctions including an amazing Leatherface costume and more! Click Here!

HorrorBid's Auction of the Day only features auctions that accept paypal as a payment method. Paypal is a safe, secure way to make online payment transactions with a safety net feature allowing buyers a possible full refund when another party does not full fill their side of the purchasing agreement. Please make your paypal disputes before the forty-fifth day of when the transaction was made. Sellers, please use tracking numbers for all your shipped items for proof of shipment. Be smart, be safe and most importantly . . . have fun!

A good price but I do remember Horror Express Studios making these first. To each their own I suppose. This wouldn't make a bad costume knife at all.

Yea, a few other people have made them and this one was initially made for the michael myers at the haunted house. I just decided to offer it to people at a real resonable price. It goes along with all the props and mask I sale, High quality, cheap price. No prop knive is worth more then 20 bucks.

I disagree whole-heartedly. I saw a prop knife, with the most incredible detail I've ever seen, and even more so, the intricacies that could only come from a person sitting down and taking their time. I've seen plenty of prop knives that are worth more than 20 bucks, and Horror Express Studios comes to mind, first and foremost. Permablood, with detailed gore, and a riveted handle. I'd pay DOUBLE what those knives are worth just to own one.

Your knives aren't bad, trust me. However, as far as detail is concerned, they're a bit lacking. Again, if you want to sell these knives here, by all means, go for it. The only problem I think you'll find is that people on Horrorbid are very loyal to their own kind. I see that you registered TODAY, which I can't help thinking was just because you wanted to sell these knives. However, we're a family here, and we take care of our own. I will NOT be buying any knives through you, and will continue to shop with the people who I know here.

I'm not trying to be mean, just speaking my mind. Horror Express did it first, and did it better, in my opinion. Trying to come and undersell them isn't the best business strategy in the world.

I apreciate everyone backing me up, but I don't want any conflick between George and I... I feel weird of the fact that you're offering the same kind of wooden knife that I am for 10 dollars less then mine. And then making the frint page of HB about it??? But that is just my own personal opinion. I didn't come to Horrorbid to fight with anybody and I didn't start making props to compete with anyone either. I don't want to be the best nor do I want to steal anyones business... Would I like to be considered one of the best??? Sure of course, but never to hurt anyone else... So I don't want any friction between us over this ordeal, but I do have my opinions and I will stick with them.

I think everyone is mis understanding me here. Im not trying to out do anyone or under sale anyone. I honestly made the knife for the haunted house and I emailed the pic to joel and he said It was cool and I thought i would try to sale a few. Ive never seen horror express studios products before and let alone care. And ive never seen ryans knives or knew he made them ( no offense ryan ). And I have been a member of this community for a long time josh, I just registerd today under my store name because Ive never sold anything on here before, Ive been on monday night mayhem every week and ive been a member under my other Id for close to 2 years now. And if you have a problem with my knives being the auction of the day ten discuss that with joel. I belive no prop is worth more then what it usually sales for because I can make them and IM not restricted to just buying them. Oh, and the perma blood remark, if you look at my website you will see that every weapon or prop that I sale comes with either blood or no blood and I dont charge extra for it, some people prefer the clean look. Oh and one last bit of info I didnt ever plan on really offering wood knives I plan on making resin ones in the future and was just offering these for this season.

Don't worry about it bro... Water under the bridge...

Hey guys Ive decided to erase the auctions for this knife and asked joel to erase the blog about it, Ive done this out of respect to ryan and his store horror express studios. This has nothing to with what Josh commented about this was done on my own free will because I dont want to come across as a copy cat or recaster. If your looking for real weapon props hit me up, if you want the safe alternative then please hit ryan up.

i don't see what the big deal is anyways. Just because somebody is selling a prop knife cheaper than somebody else doesn't mean anything. Look at Mask Makers. There are several Myers H1 masks out there. All of them look similar and are made from the same material yet have different costs. This is called competitive business. If somebody can make something better and sell it for less this should keep the other sellers on their toes.

Yeah it's supply and demand. If someone can make a cheap prop knife I can use on Halloween I will buy it. It's tough to find them so it's good to see a few different companies out there ready to compete. I am all on looks though. I am willing to pay a tad more if it looks a tad better. But it has to be around $30-$40 anything more would be out of my price range. I like thse and Horror Express Studios. It'll be a tough descesion and I may just buy both.

I've talked to George and everything is all good! I never ment for all this to happen. I told Gerorge keep his auctuons going. It honestly doesnt bother me... The only reason I got upset a little was because we had a conversation last week in Monday Night chat room and we were showing each other the stuff we sell. He told me he only made his stuff from real props. I think thats kool! I just asumed his only reason for making his knifes out of wood now was to compete with me. I took it the wrong way. I never ment for this to come out as a big deal. I just simpley said I wonder why it sounds so firmiliar to me. So please don't think down on me for only speaking how I felt at the time. If it would have been anyone else, they would have felt the same way.

Having had that said, this was not the actual case and George is actually a rather nice guy! He told me he was offering them because he already made one for a Myers at a haunted house and thought he would offer them here and I support that. It's like I said, I just jumped to the wrong conclusions and shit hit the fan over something that isnt even that big of a deal.

I know others make the same thing. Thats fine I dont care about that. I just thought he was doing it for the wrong reasons and I was wrong about him. I never got nastey with him. I just simpley put down how I felt in a pm and we resolved it in 2 or 3 pms... There was no fighting. So... This really isnt anything to fit about. I just don't want anyone getting the wrong idea about this situation. lol

I actually like this design of a knife. Looks really good!

Bashing and name calling if for imature adults who can't resolve things in an adult manor.

I really want George to relist his knifes though... He's an "ASSHOLE" if he doesnt relist them... LOL...

I'm just J/K'ing you bro, but in all seriousness... RELIST them!
