The Making of The Shining - Documentary
There are documentaries about films and then there's The Making of The Shining. I've seen many but this might just take the cake. It's extremely different than what we're use to seeing (maybe because Kubrick let is 17 year old daughter run around with a camera on set) and it doesn't feel staged. Looks like unique film making in the Kubrick family wasn't just limited to Stanley. Horror fans do yourselves a favor and watch this, it's brilliant!

You may have seen this before but if you're like me and just discovering this gem then you're in for a rare treat. It does include some sit down interviews but they seem like takes that would have normally been cut (but it's the kind of stuff we really want to see). The Making of the Shining is described as “offers rare insight into the shooting process of a Kubrick film.”
