Official 'Paranormal Activity' Movie Trailer

I ain't afraid of no ghost. Well, actually after watching this trailer I was nervous walking downstairs to do my laundry. This low budget horror film, Paranormal Activity, has been creating a buzz since it debuted at several film festivals. So to help hype it up even more Paramount is releasing it in a few select cities on September 25th. Read more to watch the brand new trailer and let us know what you think!

Follow up:

This trailer is made up of mostly test screening reactions, which might have actually made it more scary . . . I'm still scratching my head. I'll have to get back to you as I ponder that. However, I've read that one of the shots in the trailer is from very late in the film, and could be considered a spoiler.

Plot/Synopsis: Paranormal Activity was shot for $11,000 over the period of one week, for the most part with two actors in a house. Directed by first time writer/director Oren Peli, Paranormal Activity is inspired by Peli’s own experiences with strange noises after moving into a new house. The film centers around a young couple (played by Micah Sloat and Katie Featherstone) who learn that their house is haunted, and end up having increasingly disturbing experiences.

So now I'm sure many of you are already comparing this to the Blair Witch. Is that a bad thing? I know some people HATE the Blair Witch but to this day I personally believe that movie is an example of near flawless marketing. If Paramount can do the same with Paranormal, they might just have something.

Do you live in one of the cities listed in the trailer where this will be playing? If so, do you have a spare room for two HorrorBid crashers on the night of the 25th? j/k

This movie looks like it maybe the scariest film every made. Both this and Trick R Treat, are 2 of the most anticipated movies of the year, regardless if they make it into theaters.
