. . . yeah you read the headline right. Artist Marc Quinn sculpted a bust of his head. That would seem pretty normal (at least on this site) except the small fact that it's made from 4.5 liters of his own blood!!! Is this for sale? Oh I hope not and shame on you sicko for wanting to buy it . . . yeah I'm talking to you blood suckers out there. Don't lie, you know you want it j/k.

Follow up:

This piece titled "Self" is made from Marc's frozen blood. The blood is taken from this own body over a period of five months. The work is then repeated every five years to establish a unique record of the artist aging.

Honestly Marc, if you wanted to capture yourself aging in an artistic fashion did you ever think of taking up photography instead? Just hope the power on the freezer never goes out.
