VVDFX's Hanging Man

Hang em high and swing em low. Vincent Van Dyke FX and crew spent three weeks creating this ultra wicked, lifesize piece called 'Hanging Man'. We often compliment work for realistic features but rarely will I say that something could pass as real life. Hanging Man passes as real life in my book. If I walked into a garage and saw that I'd already have 911 punched into my cell before even checking if it's legit. And yes, we've got production pics too!!!

Below is info Vincent posted on the Effects Forum:

"Some work in progress pictures, thought I would run through some of the progress of the creation.

I'm not sure what the motivation is but if I ran into that thing I am seriously calling the fucking cops. That is not just Hall of Fame worthy that deserves its own wing! WOW!

no see, if they wanted super real, it should have an erection. that's quite common with hangings. also, there should be some emptied bowels, too.
