Derek Mears in Predators?
Even with Robert Rodriguez producing the next Predator installment currently titled "Predators", I'm still skeptical - partially due to the last Predator film. Already attached to star is Adrien Brody and Topher Grace. Not exactly the cast one would be hoping for in a Predator flick. However, word on the street is our very own Jason Voorhees, Derek Mears, has been casted. The question is will Mears be human or an intergalactic hunter?

Taken from ComicBookMovies.com:
"Derek Mears, better known as Jason Vorhees has confirmed that he is included in the cast of Predators, the new flick directed by Nimrod Antal and produced by Robert Rodriguez. Derek Mears will exchange his hockey mask for a Predator mask.
They don't name a source so I'd take this with a grain of salt but it does raise my interest in Predators now that somebody manly has been possibly casted (I guess Trejo is manly too). Sorry Topher and Brody but a Predator would shish kabob both of you at the same time. The only way I want Topher Grace to be in this movie is if he plays one of the trophy skulls on the Predator.
This new Predator flick is rumored to take place on the Predator home world where several Earth "Criminals" are captured and brought to a Predator jungle to face off against a Super Predator and Predator wildlife. Personally I'm not to thrilled about that either. If one Predator can wipe out a Special Force team it doesn't seem likely it would be much of a challenge for a Super Predator to hunt down some low life criminals.
