Scream IV in 3D
News coming out of the Weinstein camp today reporting that the company is planning on shooting and releasing Scream 4 in full 3D. With the recent wave of 3D horror movies being scheduled to release next year this isn't a shocking surprise. It would appear 2010 will be 3D horror year. Word is that Wes Craven is closer than ever to inking a deal that would put him in the director chair for the 3D project....

We'll keep you posted. The screenplay is being penned by Kevin Williamson and Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox are all said to be returning. The new trilogy will take on a younger version of the Scream films.

let's just hope it's not a Hanna Montanna kind of young version . I would like to see it back a ta high school and have Sid as maybe a teacher and get killed off in the classroom at night . Dewy could be a cop again in town and hear about an attack at the same place were Sid works and just have a feeling but then find out that he was right and goes home to tell his wife Gail who is working on her next book that Sid was murdered .

Per Kevin Williamson's tweet the other day, Scream 4 will NOT be in 3D. end of discussion.
