Should Tobe Hooper Return for 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D'?
Should the father return home once again? It was announced a few weeks back that Twisted Pictures, the company behind Saw, had acquired the film rights to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise from Platinum Dunes. Twisted is planning to create a new 3D film in the series that would be a contemporary reboot, throwing aside the recent two films that Platinum Dunes made and continuing on with a sequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4....

According to Bloody-Disgusting these reports were once true but the idea of Hooper in the directors chair is looking further and further from set in stone. In fact, there are talks of moving the franchise over to Lionsgate. Twisted Pictures have currently been hearing various pitches and nothing has been decided as of yet.
With all the recent talks of 3D taking over the horror world would you want to see the God father of grit back in the directors chair for a 3D version of Leatherface?
