Kevin Williamson Drops New Scream 4 Info
The Scream scribe, Kevin Williamson, had a phone conversation with MTV giving us an update on Scream IV. Seems he's cracking down on four's screenplay right now and is signed on to write part 5 also. During the phone call he gave away some new info about the cast. So what's new? Read more to find out . . .

Williamson said:
"The fourth one is an ensemble. It'll take place right now, 10 years later, and it's going to take place in [Sidney Prescott's hometown of] Woodsboro. We'll have our three main characters, and we'll be introducing several more. We'll also be introducing a little group, a little ensemble of new castmembers. That'll take us through the next three."
We'll, we know David Arquette, Courteney Cox and Neve Campbell are back but who's going to play the newbies? More importantly, is Wes Craven involved? At least it appears we can confirm the earlier rumors about a new Scream trilogy to be true. I really love the original but do we really need more Scream? Honestly, this series spawned millions of rip-offs that ultimately hurt Scream's reputation. Think about it, SCREAM would be legend if we hadn't gotten I know what you did last whenever and so on.
Thoughts?
