Thomas Kuebler's "The Inquisitor"

We feature loads of collectibles and horror art here on the 'Bid' but every blue moon we'll run across something that's so sick, so twisted that it deserves it's own wing in the Hall of Fame. Thomas Kuebler's lifesize "The Inquisitor" meets and exceeds all expectations. Although Mr. Kuebler won't give away his trade secrets he does give references for aspiring artists. Read more for pics and info.

As far as detail, it don't get much better than this. During the night, stand this at the foot of my bed and I'd probably do one of two things: A. Go all ninja and destroy this beautiful piece of horror art or B. wet myself in fear. (ok, so I'd probably just wet myself and cry under my sheets - are you happy now?). A pictures speaks a thousand words and I'll let these images doing the talking.

One of Tom's favorite places to score art material and instructional providers for sculptors is www.smooth-on.com. They sell sculpting materials and instructional DVDs for nearly all of their products. Thomas says that any of these materials can be tweaked and manipulated by the artist to achieve his/her own personal best.

Mr. Kuebler also refers up and coming artists to the great Jordu Schell (who I physically touched once). He suggests taking classes from Jordu, who offers classes at certain times of the year (check the schedule at www.schellstudio.com), or picking up DVDs and books that teach techniques and other secrets from the trade.
