Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando this year featured a walk-through "haunted house" themed off of this remake and I have to say that I walked out of that thing with a really good pump to see this film. The casting appears smart, the wolfman makeup is just different enough from the original to be cool without being disrespectful, and there is a very palpable sense that this film has been carefully put together. For me, this is going to go down like the Bram Stoker's Dracula revamp without the pain of having to endure Keanu Reeves. Whoa! What a douche nozzle.

Realize that protective and restorative shoe applications cannot perform miracles. Have the common sense to know when to air on the side of practicality and not to wear your suede stiletto calf-cut boots.
