The series will be based off of King's latest blockbuster book, which centers on a small resort town in Maine that is turned upside down when a mysterious force field surrounds the town, which divides the locals of this once-sleepy town.
DreamWorks TV is producing the project, which is currently going out to writers. It wasn't clear when a pilot would be ready for the series.
