We dedicated an entire week to zombies here on the 'Bid in anticipation for Zombieland so this news is the best we've heard in awhile. With the success of the original film it was only a matter of time before a sequel was brought up and guess what? It will probably be shot in 3D! Surprised aren't ya?....

MovieHole sat down with the director to find out if and when Zombieland 2 will happen. "Whenever we crack it", says Fleischer. Sony has expressed interest in doing a sequel and the original cast consisting of Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin have all stated that they are ready and willing. Things are looking pretty good.

"The genre really lends itself to [3-D]" says Fleischer, so it's a good bet if everything goes right the zombies will be shambling right into the audiences laps. With the resurgence of 3D films this is no suprise and actually out of all the 3D horror films beind discussed this has us most excited. But hey, we're zombie fans!
