Watch the Suicide Throat Slash Ending from 'Paranormal Activity'
This is the real deal. We showed you the original ending to PARANORMAL ACTIVITY months ago and now that the DVD/Blu-Ray has released we have our hands on the rare suicide ending that was only viewed once at a horror convention film festival. Out of the three alternate endings we feel strongly that this was the weakest, lets see if you agree with us....

I guess I'm the only one that disagrees (except with Harv- the one thing I agree with is that there was nothing scary in this movie in the first place, and it's mediocre at best).
But IMO the theatrical ending was a joke- worst of them all in concept and execution...completely laughable. The other ending was slightly better, still kind of dumb not not epic dumb like the theatrical one. The suicide ending 'in concept' is actually my favorite of all three, but I agree the actual version they shot looks weak and overacted. I can't bring myself to put it below the theatrical ending though, nothing could be that bad... I'd put it somewhere in between.

TG you may have a point, in any case it still cant seem to fathom HOW ?? I mean HOW in the name of St Jesus Jumping Christmas do people get the green light for shit like this? Who are they blowing?? I cant even begin to swallow the thought that some one read the script and said ... "Oh yeah, that would be a good movie." It just doesnt seem to connect in my brain O_O

In a word... Money. This cost like, what... 13 bucks to shoot, haha. The entire budget was spent on the baby powder they put on the steps or something. Studios were probably able to buy it for pennies, then turn it around for comparably huge bucks. Wasn't blair witch technically the be best grossing movie of all time because of what it cost to shoot vs what it brought in? I'd imagine it was similar reasoning.

Lame ending. I liked the first real ending cops come in and blast her.
She falls over dead. Over all the only thing this movie did for me was make me kick my self in the ass cause any of us could of shot this and been rich.

I was a sucker and went to see this movie pretty much knowing what it was gonna b like. Basically this movie is the Blair witch project in a house. You got the daylight moments where you feel safe then at night the dark plays tricks on you. You throw in some noises in the dark, the fact that they used a handheld, a similar bullshit ending, and the same kind of marketing scheme and there you have it. Please people, don't be fooled, this movie blows.

This movie had such potential to be a really creepy movie, I mean it could've been a first person account of seeing someone become possessed. In stead we got this... I agree the cop ending was the best because of the creep factor of her rocking back and forth for like 48 hours while people are calling the house. However it was extremely unrealistic in that the cops would never have used lethal force in that situation, although that's my completely uneducated opinion.
