'Legion' Director Talks Trilogy

Scott Stewart, director of LEGION, who was recently at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention in San Diego over the weekend reveals his plans for a “Legion” trilogy. Obviously the ability for Stewart to make a “Legion 2″ and “Legion 3″ depends entirely on how “Legion” performs at the box office when it opens later this month but the plans are in the works none the less and Stewart gives us an idea of what to expect...

Follow up:

“I have two other films in mind after Legion. And I have mapped out two other very different kinds of movies.

“Of course, it’s too early to say how if it will happen, but I want to do something different and change the genre quite a bit, like James Cameron does with his sequels.

“I can see this as a three-part story, and the next part would be a very broad kind of movie. I would open up the next movie [with the Legion] characters, and make it more accessible to a bigger audience. That is my goal.”

Even if the film makes a little bit of money, we could still potentially see a sequel or two go direct-to-DVD. Which is always a possibility with none proven horror these days.

The concept of this movie was absolutely amazing! I'm afraid that's as far as anything good about this movie goes. I would really like to understand the thought process in Scott's mind as he was directing this film. I have read third grade stories with more advance character development. I swear to make it my life's goal to make something better so my critiques can be valid and not just be complaints. I hope Scott takes the time to read this and realizes that he produced grade A crap. How dare you leave room for a sequel when the first film was harder to watch then a puppy get murdered.
1. Why and how the hell did Michael become an angel again?
2. Does that mean god's faith was restored?
3. Do the characters still have to worry about the apocalypse?
4.If god's faith in humanity was not restored then why would he turn Michael back into an angel, it makes no sense to revive him so he can further disobey.
5. How did Gabriel fail god if he was just following orders?
6. WHY WOULD YOU THINK IT'S OKAY TO LEAVE THE VIEWER'S OF A MOVIE WITH SUCH A GREAT CONCEPT WOTH SO MANY QUESTIONS?!
Forget the fact that half an hour into the movie the plot is still murkier than a Louisiana swamp. Forget the fact that that NO ONE MENTIONS HOW THE BABY IS SUPPOSED TO SAVE THE WORLD. For get that the one who disobeyed gets rewarded and the one who obeyed "failed" his father. If ANYONE can answer my six questions above then I will shut the fuck up and write an apology twice as long as this.
