Universal Planning 'Jaws 3D' Remake With Tracy Morgan?
Seriously? Come on people this is a viscous rumor to draw attention right? The fine folks at Cinema Blend are reporting that according to their sources Universal Pictures is "strongly considering a remake of the 1975 Spielberg classic, JAWS in hopes of dazzling younger audiences with new (Avatar esq) special effects." Ok so far sounds plausible right? Studio cashing in on 3D technology with a remake. Ok, we buy it but Tracy Morgan as Matt Hooper? Nope!!!
Follow up:
That can't be true. It just can't. The world would stop spinning. Nuclear bombs would start
firing at random and our moon would fall from orbit if that rumor was even remotely joked about in a Hollywood studio some where. God helps us all if this "source" is even in the ball park.
We understand wanting to make a movie with today's technology. We can even understand the studio wanting to capitalize on the 3D craze (after all the technology is a bit better than that was used in the 1983’s Jaws 3-D flick). But don't go making this is goof fest adding Tracy Morgan who we are sorry but is not fit to step into Richard Dreyfuss shoes.

sone movies should never be touched. Who cares who stars in it, this classic should never be touched. Cant they come up with anything original anymore. How about a new shark movie? One everyone would like to see. There are way to many of us who will not see a remake of Jaws. There are to many fond memories alot of us have about seeing that movie.
