In the film, Craig will play a successful publisher who quits his job and relocates his wife (to be played by Weisz) and two daughters to a quaint New England town, only to discover that their perfect new home was the murder scene of a mother and her two children. Naomi Watts will play their neighbor, a woman who was close to the murdered family, and will probably have some stories to tell the new arrivals. That’s the kind of role usually reserved for old ladies in rocking chairs, so it’s curious they’ve cast Watts.

Shooting for the movie gets underway this Sunday in Toronto. Jim Sheridan (“In America”) will direct for Morgan Creek.
