Saw 7: Endgame - Last Saw Movie That No One Wants To Make

We've reported quite extensively on this topic and the issues with having Saw 6 director (Kevin Greutert) back to direct Saw 7, a film he didn't want to make. DemonFm radio recently interviewed Jigsaw himself, Tobin Bell and he broke the news that not only the director isn't happy but now the the decision to shoot the film in 3D has also created friction between the cast and studio.

Follow up:

The simple fact that this could be the last film and it's being shot in 3D just doesn't sit well with the cast we are told. Apparently the cast isn't the only group that thinks it may just be icing on a burnt cake.

Can 3D work in horror, yes. Is it a good idea sometimes, sure. But Saw is one series that although bloated and needs to be put to rest should still have the element of dark and dank, not the usual 3D that appeals to colorful kids films rather than the dark, dank warehouses used in Saw.

Time will tell, if this is the last film it sure seems like it may go out on a downward note. The directors not happy nor is the cast? Doesn't seem like a recipe for a blockbuster. Saw VII may be better left on the cutting room floor. Bidites what do you think? Is this going to be as rough a film as it seems?

The only thing i'm looking forward to in this installment is what was in the package that Jigsaws wife dropped off.

Here's the thing... we all saw what happened to RZ Halloween II when he RZ's heart really wasn't in it. Add to that the disdain of the actors and it doesn't seem like a good recipe for a movie. Seems it would give off a certain bad vibe. As I said before, 3D is like the jumping of the shark for horror movies. I hope the movie does well, but at this pint given the bad press, and negativity behind the scenes, it doesn't seem like it will be all that great.

umm does the article care to actually source the info or are they just repeating one quote Bell had in an interview months ago where he said 3d doesnt thrill or upset him? I hate 3d in saw as much as the next guy but im even more sick of articles like these picking up info thats old news (patrick melton interview, tobin bell interview) and playing it off as some huge development. Its just a pathetic attempt to jump on the bandwagon of bashing saw without actually analyzing the situation.

This "report" is a load of bullshit and twisting of interviews.
