The Wolfman's Rejected Soundtrack
Why was this ever an option? No offense to Mr. Paul Haslinger, who they brought in after Danny Elfman originally did THE WOLFMAN score, but this sample we have just doesn't fit the classical tones of the film. Are we glad they ended up using the original Elfman score? Yes!...

I ma an avid collector of soundtracks and horror, unless this was a modern retelling of "The Wolfman" this score is totally inappropriate.Too modern....Granted, i have yet to hear the Elfman score, but he seems to hit the nail on the head when it comes to the feel of a movie, much like Williams does.

This is my first visit to your blog. We are starting a brand new initiative in the same category as this blog. Your blog provided us with important information to work with. You have done a great job. I would often brag to my parents about how one day, I would be able to sell my baseball cards and other collectibles and retire off of the profits.
