EXCLUSIVE: New 'Fangoria' Issue #292 Cover -The End of an Era

HorrorBid has got it's hands on the last Fangoria magazine of the Tony Timpone era. Starting in May ex Rue-Morgue writer Chris Alexander will be taking over the helm as editor in chief and has promised in a past interview with STYD that he has a "different point of view, much different than what Fango has had for a while and there's going to be a lot of changes." Sounds interesting to say the least, now for the last cover...

the decline in the quality of fango was horribly evident. i REALLY hope it gets back to being a great voice with honest opinions about movies in the genre. you don't have to be 'in the know' to figure out something is seriously wrong at horror HQ when such a NON horror movie like twilight new moon is on the cover.

Just a question: I already paid for my subscrption up to Sept's issue. Will I have to resubscribe, or will the money already paid in advance go toward the new issues? Since a new owner is taking over I really wasnt sure. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers me.

According to another story I read here Chris your subscription will still be the same.

The new guy is taking over but it will be business as usual I think with no interruption to our subscription.

My concern is I haven't received the last 2 issues that I have a subscription for. Guess I just have to write them off. I'm not happy.

I am in the same boat. Never recieved issue 290 and now I see issue 291 on the newsstands. I did contact their new circulation department and supposedly the last issue will be sent to me. I was told the mailing of 291 went out late. So we shall see. Here is the number if you would like to give them a call: 888.400.4965

Good news.I really enjoy Rue Morgue and I stppoed reading Fango years ago.Hopefully this will bring back the bite Fango lost years ago.I may start reading it again.
