Nothing against Tracy Morgan at all. Fantastic guy. Seems like a good sport, likes to have fun. But do I consider him a good actor? No. Brian Fellows (SNL skit) is all I see when I watch Tracy Morgan. Again, I'm sure he is a more than capable guy but to be included in a JAWS remake? Could the rumors really be true...

Short answer no!
The rumor of a JAWS remake in 3D is true. That part is not up for debate at this point. Will it happen? If we had a handful of betting chips we would say yes. After all Hollywood loves remakes and lets face it. Nothing is off limits especially in the world of horror. But when the rumors turned to Tracy Morgan getting a leading role our eyes glazed over.
So when MTV News brought up the "Jaws" remake new after cornering Tracy at the "COP OUT" films premiere he had this to say, "I would love to do a 'Jaws' movie. That was a great, great franchise. I would love to do 'Jaws.'"
But when asked if anyone has ever spoken to him about it, he answered: "Not yet."
So it turns out that the "Jaws" remake is just a rumor. Who is relieved out there in Bidite land tonight?

They really need to stop it with the WORTHLESS remakes. SOME stories are strong enough to be told again, but when it's been told the BEST it can, there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for it to be remade....
The question of why are they remaking it? Is on everyones lips what is wrong with the original? Yeah the shark is a little lame in places but that is it. Supurbly cast, scripted,shot and scored.
I'm not a Spielberg fan but Jaws is perfect. If they wanna make a Jaws film why not just make it a sequel it'd fit perfectly as they are all really lame, but still lovable because it's Jaws.
Whats next on the list of remakes Citizen Kane, Metropolis?
