'Scream 4' Subtract Wes Craven & Add Rob Zombie!
Ok that may be a cruel joke (Rob won't be directing Scream IV) but at this point the SCREAM saga is getting so ridiculous we have to find ways to continue to amuse ourselves around the office. One week Wes Craven is confirmed to direct, the next week he isn't. Another week we get confirmation from the LA Times, Craven is 100% on board, today....
Follow up:
...via Craven's twitter account we hear that the LA times has it wrong, he is still in negotiations to direct the 4th installment of the Scream franchise. This opens the question and speculation to the Weinstein Company's financial woes and whether or not that is playing a role in this now.
As ridiculous as this is getting will we ever see SCREAM IV grace the screen? Do we ever want it, this has been a touchy topic amongst horror fans since the beginning? Bidites I have a feeling you guys and gals are going to have something to say about this.
Just remember, Rob is on deck and waiting!

Rob Zombie does great work. They're not saying that. But it would be absurd to see him direct a Scream movie now wouldn't it. See the humor in that. LOL!
Anyway, I don't really want another Scream sequel. I do also recall Zombie's opinions of the first Scream, and at the time, I didn't agree with him, but I liked his music..I was about 18, and I saw Scream and really liked it. For awhile, Scream and it's sequel were my favorite horror movies, then I guess I grew up and got tired of them.
