Craig Gillespie Likely to Direct 'Fright Night' Remake

We've known about this project via Dreamworks for about a year now and since then writer/producer Marti Noxon ("Buffy Vampire Slayer," "Mad Men") has been hired to pen the script. And now, LA Times has learned which director will likely bring the film to the big screen.
After considering three directors, the LA Times tells us that the studio is now in final negotiations with Craig Gillespie, the man behind the 2007 comedies "Lars and the Real Girl" and "Mr. Woodcock." Stay tuned for more information as we get it.
