That title may be a stretch however when we read this news it immediately caused laughter to spontaneously burst around the office. I mean when was the last time you heard or thought of the name Cotton Weary? Just doesn't come up everyday does it? And didn't he die in Scream 3?...

Well this is the Scream series so you just because we you die doesn't mean your dead. Come on, you know the rules!!! Liev Schreiber (Cotton Weary) while out promoting Repo Men in NYC today fielded a question about the restart of the Scream franchise and he had this to say.

"Sure, he (Cotton Weary) died in the third film, but that hasn't stopped the Scream franchise from resurrecting the dead in some form or another."

So we have Kevin Williamson, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Wes Craven (who is all but confirmed one week and then not another) how about adding Liev Schreiber? His comments are certainly nothing more than speculation but on an otherwise dead news day, well take what we can get.
