Do We Finally Have a Director For 'Paranormal Activity 2'?
And we need one! The film is slated to release nationwide on October 22nd. According to our friend Ryan Rotten from ShockTillYouDrop Paramount Pictures is close to announcing a director for the sequel to the handy cam mega hit...
Follow up:

According to Shock, Akiva Goldsman is the closest candidate to be in the director seat. Goldsman has did quite a lot of writing in his career but he has only directed two Fringe episodes and an episode of Kings for TV. His writing career began with the John Grisham adaptation The Client; this was followed by A Time to Kill, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Lost in Space and, later, I Am Legend, The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons.
If Goldsman does indeed get the honors this would be his film directorial debut. And with that we wish him good luck.
