'Ghostbusters 3D' Set for Christmas 2012?
We know you are what your thinking. You're either about to put a bullet through your head due to all the "Ghostbuster" rumors or you're ready to strap on your proton pack with childlike glee at this news. Either way, strong feelings in either camp have been voiced...
Follow up:
From hearing it was going to happen to then hearing Bill Murray would only do it if he could be a ghost, to Murray flat out refusing it all together (according to Dan Akkroyd) the rumor on whether "Ghostbusters 3D" was going to happen has been as fancy as any CGI library ghost they can trow at us.
Well today is the day. Director (and fellow Ghostbuster Egon) Harold Ramis, who told ABC that pre-production work is being done and that "Ghostbusters 3" will be in theaters in 2012.
"Well, there's been a lot of talk about a third 'Ghostbusters' film, which has now become real," he explained. "I can say with some certainty that there will be a third movie. It won't be out until Christmas 2012, but the work is going on now."
There you have it Bidites, we hope this is the end of the story until we start seeing some new FX action or hearing what crazy role Bill Murray will take. Is it the end of the story or just the beginning? You tell us!
