HorrorBid's Best Worst Movie 'Troll 2' Weekend Contest
The quote "Best Worst Movie" ever made! And we can't argue with that statement. "Troll 2" is one of those must watch flicks if you're a horror fan and or love b-movies. Plus, the more people you have when you're watching the better the experience...

HorrorBid is not only a huge fan of the 1989 film but many of you Bidites have expressed interest in us doing a mega "TROLL 2" tribute and a dedication to the amazing documentary film sweeping the nation right now title, you guessed it, "BEST WORST MOVIE" (click here to visit the official site and check out upcoming film festival dates). The documentary was put together by "TROLL 2" (then 10 year old child star) Michael Paul Stephenson’s in his directing debut. If your a fan of "TROLL 2" then the "BEST WORST MOVIE" is only the next logically step. It's a MUST watch. Taking you on a journey on how the film was made and what the cast is up to these days.
Michael Paul Stephenson’s and the website "BEST WORST MOVIE" was so gracious to help out HorrorBid we were lucky enough to get an autograph copy of the one-sheet movie poster, tons of t-shirts and courtesy of our friends over at "LUBATTI DESIGNS" we even have a custom "TROLL 2" mask that is being hand made for one lucky winner. A value that is well over the $200 range and is insanely rare. This is a piece that Erich Lubatti (owner) is doing just for this contest. We can't thank both parties enough.

The Trolls have taken over Horrrobid. Hahahahah, what a glorious day. I will be seeing the documentary in LA at the Landmark Nuart. Troll 2 is the crazies mess of a movie but one hell of a good time. The acting, oh how bad it is. And the fact that these goblins (there never called trolls) can only eat vegetables and half to turn people into veggies when their surrounded by corn and plants. Its crazy!!! WHO WROTE THIS! HAHAHAHHA! Still a brilliant movie and so fun to watch. Thanks for doing this horrorbid.

Troll 2 is one of the few movies I can watch again and again.
Troll 2 drinking games, Troll 2 themed parties, Troll 2 choreographed dances, Troll 2 role-playing... The entertainment possibilities are endless!
Buy it and share it with your friends, because if you want to have a good time, it doesn't get much better then this! I have not only recommended this film to friends, family and movie-store costumers, but I have forced people to buy it at gun* point!

Incomprehensible awesomeness. This is a classic. Pure creativity. You will laugh your @$$ off. A fantasy for adults. Boring people who completely lack any imagination or fun, go waste your time watching the latest blockbuster or whatever crap you people watch. Everyone else, watch this movie. Share it with your friends. It is just pure FUN!

First off great contest and I love the site takeover.
When this movie first came out straight to VHS back in 92, my brothers and cousins would watch this movie so much because of the ridiculous costumes and acting in the movie that made us laugh our hearts out!
Much different from the original movie but glad it came out. I still have not seen part 3 but heard it sucked but maybe that’s a good thing?

This contest rocks (never seen these tshirts before, they look awesome).
Best troll 2 experience was to invite a couple of friends over whoe are not into bmovies at all and let them see the light. We watched troll2 while making fun of everything mst3k wise. After that movie night I was able to convince them to watch more b horror movies on a regular basis. Thank you troll2.

Sweet, trolls everywhere. Oh wait, I mean goblins. Right, why would I assume that it was trolls everywhere!
I only just watched this flick and I happened to be by myself so I don't have a great memory yet, aside from watching the worst movie ever but I think I've got an idea for a contest entry.

Since I'm unable to give you a good memory of the film, I did just watch it for the first time ya know, I decided to make a little video of my favorite parts.
I didn't want to just cut the scenes from the movie though so I re-enacted them for everyones amusement, with a little Film Reel twist. Here's my link on youtube.

Best Troll 2 Story Ever.
I recently went through a nasty divorce and among the things my ex-wife cited as irreconcilable differences was my love for stupid movies with creepy little monsters in them.
When I asked her to be more specific she said "That Troll movie you made me watch with the vegetarian midgets in the crappy costumes."
So there you have it - Troll 2 ruined my marriage...
And in case you're wondering... I did get to keep the DVD

Last month, after my last class, I went to my local Great Clips for well, a haircut. Everything was going smooth -- there was no wait, I was quickly seated -- and then my hairdresser, very attractive, noticed the Troll 2 shirt I was wearing. This one: http://is.gd/ck3Ie.
"Okay," she said. "Before I begin, I have to ask, what's up with your shirt? 'Cause it seriously looks like McLovin from Superbad."
I broke out in a cold, (green) sweat. I'm one of the last 18-24-year-olds who hasn't seen Superbad yet. I've seen Troll 2 though. Countless times. I've made converts out of my friends, housemates, anyone who wasn't scared off by the title.
Maybe she'd be interested?
"Oh, um, it's from a really bad horror movie called Troll 2. It's actually pretty funny."
"Oh," she said. Nothing. She began cutting my hair. "Tilt your head down, please." I didn't ask her who the goblins were.
Anyway, here's the abridged comic version I made (Link: http://is.gd/ck6d2). In the end, we "needed time for some things to happen." We succeeded in small talk. I found out she has a fiancee.

Watching the Troll films in elementary and middle school was always a blast, but it wasn't until I was an adult that I realized how awesome they truly are(especially part 2). About 2 years ago I had a Troll 2 get-together and it was a fun event! Beer, pizza, and...goblins? There weren't any trolls! So great! I also love the Rifftrax commentay.

Very cool, I love this movie just because it was a huge let down when I was a kid. You see Dr. George Hardy (real nice guy, my wifes dentist infact), one of the stars, is a local dentist where I live, ALEXANDER CITY,AL, so I that it was sooooo cool that a local was in a horror movie. Now if we could only get SICK OF THE LIVING DEAD! off the ground I am sure I could get him to play a zombie or something. LOL!

My favorite memory of Troll 2 - and there have been many - was when I was 16. My friends and I had a weekly ritual where we would go to the video store, pick out the WORST looking horror film we could find and watch it, Mystery Science Theater 3000 style. Well, during this era, I happened to catch a film on Showtime that caught my eye - it literally put everything we rented to shame! That movie turned out to be Troll 2! I taped a copy of Troll 2 on video and that very weekend we watched it - and never looked back! It became the new 'Rocky Horror' for my friends and I and we watched it every weekend for months, making fun of it constantly! "A bologna sandwich!" became our new catchphrase and we still use it to this day - 14 years later!
