We love horror magazines!!!! There is just something that bounds us to them like our favorite horror movie or that collectible that you have to have. We have our favorites and "HorrorHound" magazine is always tops on our list...

Follow up:

Thanks to our friends at HH we get a sneak peak at issue #24 and it has our jaws hanging wide open. It's a tribute issue to 30 years of "FRIDAY THE 13TH" and we get a fantastic look at Jason Voorhees from F-13 "Part 4" courtesy of master artist Ed Repka. What more could a horror fan want? We have a feeling this will sell out and sell out fast. To subscribe or pick up a copy of the rag, CLICK HERE. Feast on the cover below and let us know what you think Bidites?

Very, very good question. We didn't even get an official fangoria for the remake....why not?

The title is somewhat depressing. The Rise and FALL of Jason Voorhees? Sure, he's had a couple of bad runs. But if any icon can make a comeback with little effort, this guy can. The forumla is basic enough that anyone who expects anything more than bland humor, dorky characters, nice tits, and large body count is barking up the wrong tree. These aren't oscar winning films. They're couch potato, giggle at the cheese while your gf actually gets somewhat scared, cinema. Camp Slashers are not to be critisized and held up for comparison against movies such as Saw and Paranormal Activity. Apples and Oranges, people. I still fail to see what was wrong with the remake. The DP should have been fired for coming to close with the TCM style and the tunnel plot and treatment of momma voorhees was weak. But on a positive note, the rest felt like a true F13 film (no sequel truly matches any other anyway, no?)
