Ahhh, day two into shooting and we are already at a break neck speed trying to keep up with anything news worthy that passes the lines of communication via the fourth installment of Wes Craven's "SCREAM" franchise...

Follow up:

We have been hearing TONS of rumors. The way this is going to go with our coverage of "SCREAM 4" is we will report only the things we hear from more than one source. There is soooo much secrecy surrounding the film that it's hard to decipher what is true or not but we will do our best to keep you informed. Some things may slip through that turns out to be false but hopefully more truth will come that the other.

With that being said we do have some concrete information via our friends at Scream Trilogy who have deciphered a series of Tweets from Ghostface mask and costume manufacturer, R.J. Torbert.

Below is exactly what they wrote (or should we say tweeted)

"I expect there to be 2 diff masks, however I will say this, things changing very often – difficult to say without giving it away.

Sent out additional GHOSTFACE to the SET today, a very interesting opening scene.

Lets just say, the town of Woodsboro, has an obsession. There is your hint."

So would they have the gull to change up the look of the original Ghostface? We think that they will. No longer does the Ghostface look draw the same fear as it did from the original and it makes sense to change things up with a new look. Whether that happens remains to be seen but writer Kevin Williamson tweeted today a picture of two different looking Ghostface masks because fans are scrambling to find out what the look indeed will be. Check them out below.

Personally we like the one on the right. The rotted look has a very Rob Zombie'ish style which many will either like or dislike. Personally it changes things a bit without getting rid of the entire look so we could go with it. Even the scarecrow look is interesting although that may be a bit to Wizard of Oz for our taste.
