'SAW VII 3D' Takes First Blow at 'Paranormal Activity 2'

And it's almost comma inducing. No the folks at Lionsgate aren't throwing punches in the battle over October 22nd, when 'SAW 7' filmed entirely in 3D will go against a sequel to last years juggernaut, 'Paranormal Activity 2'. But that isn't stopping our friend, director Kevin Greutert, from giving the fans something to chew on, albeit it scraps...

Follow up:

Does anyone else feel sorry for poor Greutert here. He last directed 'SAW 6' thought he was done with Jigsaw. Is announced to direct 'Paranormal Activity 2' a new rival franchise. Is very excited to do the project and the execs hold him to his contract not allowing him to opt out, thus he was forced to direct 'SAW 7 3D" or 'SAW 3D" whatever we will eventually call it.

Take that and add to it no real excitement besides the "entirely in 3D" factor and you gotta think he is longing for an easter egg laden teaser trailer (like "PA 2") he can come out with of his own. That doesn't look to be happening anytime soon so until Lionsgate gives us something Kevin has updated his blog with a few pics below. Take a look and try not to get too excited.

"Yeah, that guy looks like he’s in a Jigsaw trap, but it’s just the 3D camera rig."

"That’s me and Assistant Director Steve Webb. See, people smile on SAW sets…"
