New LET ME IN News, Images and One-Sheet "Blood Drip" Poster
The American remake of the brilliant Swedish LET THE RIGHT ONE IN titled LET ME IN is due to hit theaters October 1st. This is a tough topic to tackle if you're a fan of the original, or for that matter the novel. All which are very different interpretations of the original work created by John Ajvide Lindqvist...
Follow up:
Although arguments for whether the film should have been remade for American audiences rages on at this point it doesn't matter. The film is in the can and having read and watched the original novel and film we agree that at the very least the remake will allow the story to reach millions of more horror fans which isn't a bad thing no matter how you look at it.
Today we found out via that MPAA the film will receive an R rating due to "strong bloody horror violence, language and a brief sexual situation." So PG-13 talks are history. Also we get a new image and French one-sheet poster featuring a drip of blood which if your familiar with the MPAA and American promotional material you'll know that the site of blood is a no, no. So it's always good to see a little bit of crimson when we can. Feast on the image and poster below. LET ME IN hits theaters October 1st.
