Which is Scarier? HALLOWEEN or ALIEN - Jamie Lee And Sigourney Discuss
Michael Myers vs. ET! An age old debate that could be discussed at lengths at the end of this very article. The quintessential "sububia" nightmare or the "lost in space" aliens are coming and there is no where to hide? Both hellish scenerios and one that Jamie Lee Curtis (HALLOWEEN) and Sigourney Weaver (ALIEN) are not afriad to delve into...

Is a guy that spends 15 years in a mental hospital, have never driven before but can drive perfectly, does not speak for more than 10 years, can survive being shot, stabbed, falling from the window and still keeps killing people with a mask real???
Depending upon your age and when you first saw Halloween and/or Alien decides your interest. Movies now a days are NOT scary, seeing someone get cut into piece isn't scary; it's just graphic. It turns your stomach, but it won't make you turn in your sleep.
And as far as your "realism" breakdown of Halloween; stranger things have happened my friend. Halloween is a scenario that could play out, it just hasn't. But it's not impossible.
personally for me...idk. Alien isnt something that is possibly unless of course you believe in Aliens x 100. But Halloween is possible. All of it. I dont think theres a moment in the Halloween series where youre like...okay thats not possible. Its scary to know that a man is so bent on killing his bloodline that he keeps coming back for more. Same thing with Alien kinda except you if we are going on which thought is scarier.
Honestly id sayAlien after thinking about it. With Micheal, you can just leave Haddonfield. He is The Shape, with totally confidence you could kill him or at least get rid of him for a little while. Alien on the othr hand...its this big friggin gawy and theres not just one...theres tons and they cant be talked out of killiing you cause they dont give a fuck lol
So all in all. I guess Alien takes it. But that doesnt make my boy Mickey Myers and less scary
I really don't think that anyone could survive all that he has been through, without any medical treatment, and keep killing people, I am sorry, but it's not at all realistic.
Some movies are scary nowadays, not the graphic ones, but when I saw, for instance, Paranormal activity and The Exorcism of Emily Rose for the first time I was a bit scared.
I absolutely love some old horror movies, and I've seen hundreds of them, from every decade beginning on the 20's, but I was never scared from seeing movies made prior to the 90's.
I think that Alien is an excellent movie and Halloween is good, but the weakest of the four most successful slasher franchises from that period (Friday the 13th, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween).
Moreover I believe that everyone is entitled to have their own opinion, and why were you so nervous, it's just an opinion about movies, nothing serious. Don't you have anything more important to be angry about?
