I have been a Freddy fan since I was a little kid. I remember watching the movies during the day on channel 21 on the weekends when I was about 7 or 8. I took a few weeks and made this music video as my own personal tribute to the franchise. Hope you like it.

I have been a die hard fan since childhood (saw Dream Warriors when I was 7 or 8 and been addicted since and forever) Here is a picture of my back with my Freddy tattoo, which is quite small now but will one day be a full back piece dedicated to Freddy and the Nightmare on Elm Street series. This is a picture of a Freddy glove I made. Had to put it up high on a shelf seeing it's very sharp. Freddy is my all time favorite Horror character and the glove would go great down in my theater that's decked out with horror memorabilia

Nearly every part of the costume (Minus the pants and shoes) were made or converted by me.
The sweater was spray painted with green stripes. The fedora was a bowler hat bent and crimped with the help of duct tape. The glove was made from copper, fiberboard, and a leather work glove. The mask was sculpted onto a bust of myself, and cast then with latex.
Oh, and this was all done for a high school Independent Study Art Class.

I 1st saw nightmare on elm street when i was 4, and i have been glued ever since. My collection is small, but i have more items on the way, but a glove would really my it the best :)

Here is a little sneak peak at my costume this year!! I am volunteering at a Haunted House run by our local fire and police departments. The glove by Joe would really help scare the kiddies over my NECA one!

I really would like to win this i have an extensive glove collection and two silicone masks a spfx Freddy first generation (Extremely rare) and a CFX Extra toasty with a custom paintjob, 4 sweaters, 6 gloves with 5 more on the way, the original NOES on Blu Ray for my projector, freddy action figures, and i work a haunted house/ hayride as him during the halloween season locally. Here i have pictured me as the son of 100 maniacs i feel the mask looks amazing and its very very accurate in its appearance. I appreciate the chance to enter this contest i have been a NOES fan for longer than i can even remember i feel like ive always had freddy on the brain lol

Already had a video of my Elm Street collection up, so this worked out great. The only thing missing is my hat, sweater, and mask. Other than that, everything is present.

I have been a huge Nightmare fan for as long as I can remember. The Nightmare movies were the only movies to ever truly scare me as a kid. So here is my entry video. I have a bunch of memorabilia but these are my favorite out of everything. The Nightmare 3 standee is signed by Ira Haiden and Rodney Eastman. Thats me dressed as Freddy also.

This has got to be the most awesome contest of them all!!! Very Very Awesome!!! I've always been a Freddy fan and I love to offer things that nobody can buy. A while back I was trying to find a Freddy sweater like the Original. One without stripes on the sleeves and be damned if I could find one... I knew I wasnt the only one who might want one so I desided to start making them and offering them to the guys here on Horrorbid.com. I called them the Original Dream Sweaters. Anyway, I don't know that I am worthy of winning such an awesome prize, but I will say that I am very very protective of my collection. I take care of my things and keep them in the best shape that I can. For example, I have a dvd collection of 1,000 movies or so and EVERY one of them look BRAND NEW on the bottom of the discs. So if that doesnt say something, then I don't know what does. :)

If it was for one of Englunds gloves i would show my collection.....all who are posting their collections and vids for this remake glove are in turn supporting the bull shit that hollywood keeps cramming down our throughts in the for of "reimaging" "reboot" and flat out "REMAKE"

I've been thinking about this contest for the last couple of days and i was really contemplating on entering or not. I am a huge nightmare/Freddy fan. Freddy is in my top three favorite characters of all time. Yea I would love to have that glove but I'm more interested in the documentary because its the only piece of Nightmare I haven't seen. The reason I was thinking about not joining this contest is because it asks to show your dedication and I didn't know how to do that. How can I show my dedication? By permanently marking my body with a Freddy tattoo? By spending unknown amounts of money on nightmare merchandise? Well i cant do that, unfortunately I have not been blessed with the funds to do that, if i could I would buy everything with Freddy's face on it. However that does not mean I am not dedicated to the franchise, I have seen all the nightmares more than I can count, my first Freddy glove was an old winter glove that I inserted white plastic knives into the tips of the fingers, hell I still have the original theater 3d glasses from Freddy's dead. No I don't have a Freddy tattoo, no I don't have Nightmare merchandise stacked to the ceiling, but when a new nightmare movie is in theaters I am right there opening day, and even if i didn't like it it will be on my shelf when it comes out on video. That's all I got to say about that now since you asked for a picture or a video here's a picture I made a few years ago just for the hell of it.

These are drawing i made of the great Freddy Krueger. I am a very huge fan of freddy krueger and always will be. i see the film for what it is, its not just any old slasher flick. it stands alone, its a classic tale of over coming your fears. many fans dont see that and just love freddy, but i love the film itself. i might not have anything "ultimate", but my fandom for the series is forever. like wes craven says, "freddy is the bastard father we never had." thank you.

I guess I will plead my case here. The attached picture is of a stencil I made then spray painted onto my jacket. I wish I could have taken pictures of my Freddy Collection, but I don't have it anymore. Anything that an ex of mine didn't steal, I had to sell. I would love to have this prize. I'm sure it would make a nice addition to anyone's collection, but it would be a better re-start to mine.

I'm a big Nightmare Fan from Germany. The Nightmare movies are a important part of my life. I spend the most of my money for Freddy and Nightmaremovies (Cinema, Conventions, merchendise).

i would love to win this glove because obviously i'm a Freddy Fan like most horror enthusiasts... but i have an unselfish reason to want to win: our good friend and trail partner, Russell, who happens to be the BEST off-screen/haunt actor Freddy EVAR!
he's had a terrible year:
his wife is divorcing him, and his Freddy costume for our haunt is in her parents storage unit-and they won't let him have it back!
he accidentally set himself ON FIRE! he's like a real-life Freddy now, without the child murdering of course.
he's had numerous skin grafts on his legs to try to fix the damage.
and now he can't see his kids everyday, which is KILLING him.
if i win, i will hand the glove over to Russell immediately, and we will post a thank you video all over Facebook, too! winning such a fantastic glove would make his millennium!
i understand if someone else's reasons for wanting to win are better, though... so good luck to everyone!

I've tried for a long time to create my own version of Krueger and enjoy playing the part even though there arent a lot of opportunities where I come from. I have been a huge Freddy fan since the film came out. I made a glove out of cardboard with popsicle sticks as a kid. Then retried to make it in metal as a teen but melted the blade when I tried to weld it. :( Growing up I still am obsessed and dress up as him at horror conventions with my new glove I had handmade for me, David Miller sweater, and a mask from ebay. Anyway here is me suited up in bed with my nightmare

I have been a huge Freddy fan since I was a little kid! It was the first horror movie I ever seen & ive been hooked ever since. I have a crappy job and cant buy a whole lot of merchandise, but I do have some things, like original comics! So this glove would be an awesome addition! Ive always wanted to add to my small collection, but unfortunately, main priorities come first [bills!] I was very excited to hear about this contest and think its awesome that you guys would do such a thing. Its definately a once in a lifetime situation for us hardcore Nightmare fans. I've had a bad couple of months and winning this would definately make my YEAR! But I am not looking for sympathy at all. When my boyfriend decided to propose to me, his Mom suggested he do it in a way that would be special to me. Since I am such a huge Nightmare on Elm Street fan, he decided to incorporate it into his proposal. He brought my NECA Freddy Krueger glove over to his Mom’s house under the pretense of showing it to her, along with some of my other collectibles. After showing them to his Mom, he made sure he left them out on the living room coffee table. Later that night he slipped the ring onto one of the finger knives and asked me if I wouldn’t mind helping him put the collectibles away in the guest room. I went into the living room as he quietly followed behind me. I reached the table and noticed the ring as I went to pick up the glove. I turned around, he was on his knees and popped the question. How could I say no? Now all he has to do is convince Robert Englund to be his best man!
