AMC, the theater chain behind the release of HATCHET II (in it's unrated glory) has announced today the official theaters the film will be shown at. Fortunate for some and unfortunate for others this list will certainty not please everyone but we urge every fan to try their hardest to support this film. Why? Simply because we are confident it's a good film and it's time to stand up for independent un-rated horror...

Well, it will mean a lot of people won't see the movie in theaters. It didn't make mine, and it's a pretty major city. I'll just wait for the DVD.

Sweet, it's playing at one of the nicest cinemas in Toronto. I'll have to make it out there and check it out.

This sucks. At least someone told me in advance that it wouldn't be playing in my theater. I live in Greenwich, NY and the closet I could get is the wilton mall 8 theater. This sucks it's not playing. It was the same week as my homecoming dance/game was anyways.

Yea this fucking sux b/c the theater in my town is a AMC theater and I read on here that it was only gonna be in AMC theaters b/c Adam Green made a deal with AMC for it to be unrated. I was soo pumped but now im seriously pissed. I would think that if you do a deal only w/ AMC theaters to show your film, that it would be in all AMC theaters not just the big cities. Now I gotta drive fucking 5 hrs to see this movie, that's prolly not gonna happen. What the fuck AMC?????
