Wait… Listen… Do you hear that noise? Nope, that’s not Grandma slurpin’ her soup again, it’s everybody’s favorite body part stealing mutant “creeping” back into the news! That’s right my beloved Bidites, that old familiar echo of JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 is bouncing back for yet another go around, and could it be in 3D?....

It seems like every time those stolen peepers start to pop up to see the light of day, MGM’s financial woes knock it back down like some kind of really awesome game of “Whack-A-Mole”!

But there appears to be some daylight on the horizon afterall...for now at least! In a recent interview with Fangoria, director Victor Salva briefly discussed the third installment. When asked, “Do you see JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 on the horizon?” by Fangoria, Salva replied;

"Though I have been beating this drum for so long that people have started not to believe me, I am told they are very close to closing a financing deal for the third film in the trilogy," he says. "So I want to say yes, but let’s not jinx it by saying any more. My script for the film, which was written some time ago, sets up a TV series that features Poho County and The Creeper. The script has been ready to shoot for a while now."

If the financing does in fact come through for the project, it will still have to wait a bit. At least until Salva finishes shooting ROSEWOOD LANE. But for the time being, there is hope. So rest assured fellow Bidites, our delightfully smelling body parts are safe for just a while longer! THIP THIP THIP THIP THIP….Grandma?
