For the folks out there who are old enough to remember playing with the Mego action figures, EMCE TOYS may be a familiar name. They relaunched the 8" line of toys a few years ago and are showing off a whole slew of new zombie figures at TOY FAIR 2011....

Follow up:

First up is the last 2 characters from their NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD line as Barbra and Zombie Karen make their appearance. Ben and the Graveyard Zombie have been released previously but it looks like they may be doing a reissue of those figures. They've also got a very cool looking Karen bobblehead in the line-up. Check them out!

Next up is the original line of WAR OF THE DEAD figures. These are 1/9 scale figures and come with a good batch of accessories. There's a Commando figure, a Cadaver Disposal Technician in a hazmat suit with gas mask and complex acid spraying apparatus, a Researcher Zombie and a Construction Worker Zombie.









Finally, and this is probably one of the coolest zombie toys around, is the MAKE YOUR OWN ZOMBIE kit. It comes with 3 Mego base bodies, five heads in different states of decay, interchangeable arms, legs, hands and feet and two sets of clothing. It all comes with a DVD giving painting and assembly techniques. A zombie figure is cool enough but now we'll get the chance to build any kind of zombie we want to. Bust out the painting supplies and start practicing now.
