Bruce Campbell to Appear in Rob Zombie Film?

A match made in heaven or a match made in hell? Either way you slice it this news has our ears perked and pondering what kind of antics we could see Zombie pull off with the help of the "great chinned one". In a recent online poll via Zombie's site, he asked the question of who'd you like to see in a Rob Zombie film...

Follow up:

Taking in over 59% of the votes and winning handily was none other than the EVIL DEAD star himself, Bruce Campbell. Could we see Bruce in a cameo in Rob's new film LORDS OF SALEM, or possibly another one of Zombie's film projects down the line? You never know with Rob on whether this is just him having some fun or if indeed he is seriously contemplating the idea of adding one of these polled actors to one of his films.

It certainly would be interesting to see a project with Campbell involved. Should we start the speculation now and throw our hats in the ring by saying maybe Rob Zombie would direct an EVIL DEAD remake? It wouldn't have to star Campbell but a cameo would surely be a must and mixed with Rob's "trashy" style and dark humor, could it work? HALLOWEEN fans had to deal with that, might EVIL DEAD fans have the same plight in the near future? Time will tell.

Either way, having Bruce Campbell involved in anything horror related has "Groovy" written all over it in our book. Stay tuned for more information as we get it. Until then, we wait.

I can't take anyone with grammar as shitty as Walter's seriously.
An Evil Dead remake would suck and as much as I love Rob Zombie, he needs to keep his hands off of other people's movies. But as far as Bruce being in a Zombie film, I say hell yes. It could either be awesome or a complete failure but either way, it's sure to have a cult following.

Walter, you can't even spell " Morons" right. Go fuck yourself, cause Zombie rules. Man, why is it every MORON I come across online can't even spell correctly in his little drama queen shit talking rants? LOL..

I love Zombie, and I love the Evil Dead films. I do remember voting in that poll, I can't remember if I voted for Bruce Campbell or Tony Todd..Not surprised Bruce won though, and I think if he was in one of Zombie's movies, they would find a way to make it work. And if any haters don't like it, they can piss off.

I concur with Moon & Doll, if you can't spell moron you more than certainly are one. Not to mention your horrid interpretation of grammar. I'd put his age group somewhere between 11-14. But anyway, I don't think Zombie can really handle doing a remake. He's better off doing his own projects where he can come up with a story without having fans of the original film cry foul. So if Bruce makes an appearance in Lords of Salem as a judge or something, I'd love to see it. Always brings a smile to my face to see a horror icon back on the screen, even if it's for a brief moment.

I loved TDR and the Halloween Remake was okay. Some parts were really cool and then some parts were way off but if he could make another film as entertaining as TDR WITH Bruce that would be awesome.

Rob should stick to his own projects, Halloween completely missed the premise of the boogeyman and Halloween 2 was an abomination. Im all for original films from him however as he has a great sense of style and he has proven he knows how to both tell a story and has excellent pacing.
