Sam WILL Return! TRICK 'R TREAT Sequel in the Works?
This may be the tinniest morsel of a story we've ever posted but one we are happy to announce. According to the official TRICK 'R TREAT twitter page we get a simple tweet stating that "Sam WILL Return!" Michael Dougherty's brilliat 2007 horror anthology film was shelved for years waiting on a deserved theatrical release and sadly that day never came. However strong DVD and Blu-ray sales encouraged fans that a sequel would happen...
Follow up:
A glimmer of hope from a group of fans of the first film, we can only cross our fingers that a proper sequel will take place. Until then TRICK 'R TREAT remains a staple for Halloween viewing ever year and will be passed on for generations as it truly did an amazing job of capturing the very essence of both Halloween (the holiday) and horror in one fantastic film. Sam, we hope to see you very soon!

I loved this movie so much, that I can watch it again and again and never get sick of it. Its one of those movies that make you excited for halloween. This is my favorite movie ever I watch it on christmas, thanksgiving, easter, every day praticly I am hoping for a Trick R Treat 2. That would be the day.
