Enjoy watching a zombie's head explode do ya? Well who doesn't? That's why director Ruben Fleischer is excited to get started on the highly anticipated Zombieland 2 sequel. Icon Vision caught up with the busy director to talk zombies...

Information about the Alien prequel has been few and far between that is until today. It's no surprise with the recent explosion of 3D films to hear this announcement but we have a feeling Alien fans will either love the decision or hate it...

Eight months from now on Oct. 22, just before Halloween, 'Paranormal Activity 2' will be going head to head with 'SAW 7' in 3D. Sounds exciting doesn't it? One problem. The director that was supposed to shoot 'Paranormal Activity 2' is busy being forced to direct 'SAW 7' (oh don't forget it's in 3D). So where does that leave us? No director for 'Paranormal Activity 2'. Sound like a mess? That's because it is...

Nothing against Tracy Morgan at all. Fantastic guy. Seems like a good sport, likes to have fun. But do I consider him a good actor? No. Brian Fellows (SNL skit) is all I see when I watch Tracy Morgan. Again, I'm sure he is a more than capable guy but to be included in a JAWS remake? Could the rumors really be true...

We've reported quite extensively on this topic and the issues with having Saw 6 director (Kevin Greutert) back to direct Saw 7, a film he didn't want to make. DemonFm radio recently interviewed Jigsaw himself, Tobin Bell and he broke the news that not only the director isn't happy but now the the decision to shoot the film in 3D has also created friction between the cast and studio.

This isn't exactly breaking news. We reported this back in April of last year but we decided to revisit this topic as after all, it's good old Saint Valentine's day. Unfortunately we won't be seeing any bloody hearts in a box courtesy of Harry Warden due to a studio not wanting to make money. Yes you read that right...

No, it isn't the NIGHTMARE trifecta here. We just got this off the news wire and although it's all about the original Freddy Kreuger Robert Englund, this story doesn't have anything to do with the knife glove wearing slasher icon. This is all about Englund's new project WEBCAM 3D. Englund may have terrorized our dreams for years as Freddy Krueger but he is also a terrific actor without the makeup and this new film looks like a can't miss...

We were just talking about how the wicked, animated zombie flick A.D. was shaping up and now the fellas at Dread Central have scored an exclusive look at Tony Todd reprising his role of "Ben" in the 3D prequel, Night of The Living Dead: Origins. I'm so giddy that I'm getting the shakes! However, Tony isn't the only person reprising his role from the 1990 remake. Read more about this American Zombie Anime in 3D.

'Evil Dead' and 'Zombieland' in the same title! Yeah we did it and here's why! The two franchises have one thing in common with their sequels, they want to throw over the top blood at you with one exception, 'Zombieland 2' wants to do it in 3D! We already reported the 3D aspect but writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick tell us they really want to "bloody" things up with the sequel in this interview...

Seriously? Come on people this is a viscous rumor to draw attention right? The fine folks at Cinema Blend are reporting that according to their sources Universal Pictures is "strongly considering a remake of the 1975 Spielberg classic, JAWS in hopes of dazzling younger audiences with new (Avatar esq) special effects." Ok so far sounds plausible right? Studio cashing in on 3D technology with a remake. Ok, we buy it but Tracy Morgan as Matt Hooper? Nope!!!

Kevin Greutert had wrapped up shooting on Saw VI and was ready to move on to another project, one he really wanted to be a part of. He was announced tentatively as the director for Paranormal Activity 2 and before the announcement settled his contractual obligation to do the follow up Saw VII in 3D was instated. Was this a bad dream or one of Jigsaw's elaborate games? No this was real life and a case of the legal fine print...

The question of an upcoming Gremlins 3D movie made the rounds again today and although semi confirmed (at least we thought) a few weeks ago got a shot in the arm today. Apparently the idea might as well be tossed in a tub of cold water. It doesn't look like the project has been green lit. In fact the Godfather of film himself Steven Spielberg hadn't even heard of the idea...

Ok, couple of things here. If you've seen the trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures epic CLASH OF THE TITANS remake then you've heard Liam Neeson in his best Zeus voice proclaim "release the Kraken!" That has now become the official joke around the office for something unmentionable and it simply has to stop! The other thing is this set of new posters we were just sent. One word, cool!...

Well, well, well look who's back. Despite news concerning Kate's absence from Underworld 3D (the 4th Underworld installment), Variety claims Beckinsale is set to return and so is the franchise's creator, her husband Len Wiseman. I'm sure this is HUGE news for Underworld fans who missed Kate and her hot vampire bod in Underworld 3. Read more.

The international trailer for Warner Bros’ Clash of the Titans remake has just been released, and it’s filled with footage of Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson. In the teaser and the first domestic trailer you barely see or hear from either of them but they’re letting their presence be known this time around. This happens with a lot of trailers and we're afraid it may be the case here, is this to much footage that we're seeing?...

First off, can we chance the name of this movie? For one thing it's awkward to say. Saw VII 3D? I mean how about something a bit more topical like, (Saw VII -The highjacking of a director that doesn't want to make the movie so why should we see it...oh and it's in 3D!). All joking aside this project is obviously going to happen and we have the latest on who will be on screen when SAW VII hits theatres this Halloween...

Well "game over" in our best Jigsaw voice. The nail is finally in the coffin and boy we can't imagine how great Saw VII 3D (hmmm a film in 3D? It'll never work!) is going to turn out now that they've contractually forced a director to do a film he so clearly does not want to be a part of. If only we could be a fly on the wall during production. Somehow we don't thik this will be the end of the Saw vs. Paranormal Activity fued though...

Sorry for the flashy headline but we here at HorrorBid have hired an entire team of writers to just sit around the office all day pitching new ideas to try and grab your attention when announcing new 3D movies. Since we're announcing what seems like three new 3D films a day it just made good fiscal sense. Plus, when they're not groveling on their knees we have them re-enact the overtaking of the castle scene in 'Army of Darkness'...

The battle over director Kevin Greutert of the Saw VI fame got nasty last night (CLICK HERE) when Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate announced that they were not letting Greutert out of his contract to direct Paranormal Activty 2.
