Will The Newest Remake of GODZILLA Finally Get it Right? Director Gareth Edwards Says Yes....
In the world of horror, there are few words that make us all shudder, roll our eyes back into our heads so hard that something pops deep inside our twisted deranged little brains and start screaming “Why, WHY, WHHHYYYY!!!”, more than the dreaded word “remake”. Remake, retool, re-envision…..it’s all the same. It made money once, it’ll make money again…
Gareth Edwards wowed select audiences with his directorial debut in MONSTERS, now he hopes to wow America with his GODZILLA remake. Not much about the project has been spoken since Edwards was announced to be helming the film, but Gareth himself speaks briefly the remake of the long running sci-fi series. 
Maybe! You would be hard pressed to think of a more classic creature than the legendary "Godzilla". From terrifying early movie goers to the most recent designs the creature for the most part (minus the zipper) has stayed similar to the original designs...
And in 3-D! Well you know it will be. We can only hope the studios get it right this time! Rising from the ashes once again is the giant lizard that is a house hold name across the planet. Variety reports that studio Legendary is going to co-produce & finance the new movie with Warner Brothers with the goal to release Godzilla in 2012...
