We were beginning to wonder if "JONAH HEX" was just going to slide by unrated. For a movie that hits the box office this Friday it was odd to see the film take so long to get rated but it's finally in and although we were hoping for a hard R the ratings board settles on PG-13...

We announced last November that 'I Spit on Your Grave' (Day of the Women) was being remade. It's crazy how the climate of the the late 70's indie horror film scene differs from the indie movies of today. Well, it turns out the comparison is null as we learned today that Anchor Bay Films has picked up rights to CineTel Films' remake of the 1978 cult indie film...

The climate has changed for independent films. The original I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE was raw and gritty which makes it tough to swallow when you hear a film like this is being remade.
