OK, so the animated phenomenon THE FAMILY GUY has paid homage to many genres. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and even some of Stephen King's greatest novel to movie adaptations. Being huge fans of the classic EVIL DEAD it was just a fun play on their word Deadites, and it stuck....
Why do other countries always seem to have the best commercials? A Direct TV spot shows off many iconic horror icons and yes even Lord Vader himself, although we're not exactly sure the link here we won't complain. It's an odd video to say the least, the music makes little sense but it's definitely worth checking out simply because it's so bizarre. Feast on the video after the break...

One thing that always has interested fans about series like Friday the 13th and Halloween is the changes made to the main character. Michael always had a new mask and coveralls and Jason apparently shopped at the same department store because his look would change from film to film. What a better day than today to look back and talk a little bit about the different looks and if our favorites differ from yours...

If you've been a member of the Bidite nation for any amount of time you know our love for contests. Today just so happens to be one of our favorite days of the year, Friday the 13th. From a youngster watching the series evolve it is truly the ultimate slasher library and this day is a day to dust off those great, sometimes overly cheesy F-13 movies and have a marathon. We hope we can help get you in the move and give some things away at the same time...
