 HA, you thought we were only going to feature Howards's Gary Oldman Dracula bust (btw - which is amazing)! In fact, Howard Senft has such mad sculpting skillz that it would be a crime not to show off a wide range of his horror works.  Last week Sideshow Collectibles sent out a press release promising to unveil an upcoming 'killer' preorder in honor of Friday the 13th. So it was assumed that we'd be getting something Jason Voorhees related. Many were hoping for a PF but when Sideshow finally released "teaser" images on Friday the 13th, they left collectors with only speculation. So what Jason collectible are we getting?  Scabboy.net found this sweet pic of a Brazillian Soccer team adopting Jason Voorhees as their mascot to celebrate Friday the 13th. Looks like the first Jason, Ari Lehman, had this up on his facebook page this morning. I just wanna see a video of these guys playing football (yeah, I went there America) with the hocks on, talk about mad wicked if they did that. Happy Friday the 13th everybody!!!  Now this could be cool depending on how flashy you like your wardrobe. Marc Ecko, known Star Wars hoodies, has released Friday the 13th and SAW themed Black Rhino hoodies. Not sure how many of you horror collectors like gear that screams "look at me" but you have to admit it's still a wicked idea and easy on the eyes. However, these hoodies are a bit pricey and my guess is only die hard horror fans will flash the plastic. Read more for pics and details.

 Even with Robert Rodriguez producing the next Predator installment currently titled "Predators", I'm still skeptical - partially due to the last Predator film. Already attached to star is Adrien Brody and Topher Grace. Not exactly the cast one would be hoping for in a Predator flick. However, word on the street is our very own Jason Voorhees, Derek Mears, has been casted. The question is will Mears be human or an intergalactic hunter?

 Derek Mears will not be reprising his role as Jason in Warner Brothers upcoming Friday the 13th 'Part 2' according to ScreenBuzz. Fans of the new series and many of the die hard fans of the original all agree that Derek Mears did a fantastic job as the "new" Jason. Not bringing him back makes no sense to me whatsoever. This is hopefully a bad rumor much like the news of former UFC fighter Tim Silva taking over the role....

 Friday fans this is truly something special. Every detail has been captured on this figure down to the decaying cloths and rusting chain hanging around Jason's neck. Tent stakes, axe, sickle and his trademark machete are all included along with a ton of other sick extras....

 Never to be upstaged by Freddy, news that Mr. Voorhees is getting another day in the sun according to Warner Brothers has hit the web. The sequel to the Platinum Dunes Friday the 13th remake will be released on Friday August 13, 2010 pitting Freddy vs. Jason once again at the box office. Is it us or does it feel like the 80's all over again....

 Who needs a nightlight when you've got your glow in the dark Slasher icons! Mezco Toyz via their Cinema of Fear line is selling a limited edition set of their Tiny Terrors that glow. Featuring Freddy, Jason and Leatherface you can pick these guys up in Mezco's store, Mezco Direct. Seems like a pretty sweet deal to me but Freddy just doesn't look right with only three blades.

Everything is complete and you're ready to terrorize all the Halloween parties and trick or treaters this year...Right? Wrong! It's cold out there in the dark and damp Crystal Lake woods and Jason needs a jacket dammit! We've found one and it looks as close to screen accurate as we've seen....
