Lets be honest. The SAW series will more than likely not end today even though the latest film is being titled the "FINAL CHAPTER". With news of a reboot to the series down the road and a possible scenario that has Dr. Gordon taking over Jigsaw's role it wouldn't surprise us if the "game wasn't exactly over". When Konami suggested a Halloween release for SAW II: Flesh & Blood at E3, it apparently meant a date close to All Hallow's Eve because it's a few weeks early, which isn't a bad thing. The publisher today announced the October 19 release date of the game, "just in time for the release of Saw VII 3D, the seventh installment of the popular horror franchise from Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures."

We've reached that point in the series when the popular SAW roman numerals have been dropped because of public confusion. Isn't that a sign that the series may be ready to end? Although the studio has already flat out stated this will be the final chapter of the vulnerable horror franchise today we hear otherwise and it's from a reputable source...

Lionsgate has done it again. UGO got their hands on another incredible SAW 3D motion 3D poster. Love Saw or hate it, you can't deny that their marketing has always employed more creativity than any other horror franchise to date. One thing about the 'SAW' franchise, good or bad, is the marketing campaigns and the movie posters. From the original design all the way up the latter, just about everyone clamors to see what the poster will look like. Usually they are incredibly witty designs that show an emphasis on the torture aspect of the film...
