Although our review for director Matt Reeves LET ME IN (CLICK HERE) wasn't exactly glowing by any means the new UK quad gives us a taste of what we had hoped the film would. With just a few weeks until the opening of the film this is at the very least a nice poster to "end the campaign" so to speak...

Obviously it’s going to be hard to not compare this flick with the original. What will be very easy though will be to point out how this film fails on its own merits without ever having to worry about the original. Let Me In focuses entirely on the relationship between Owen, the bullied boy and Abby, the young vampire. Right there the film is lost because the relationship between the two of them is never believable....

We're a little worried that the studios may be showing too many of it's cards here with all the clips and trailers that we've seen to the build up of this remake. Director Matt Reeves has been having some fun today at the horror community's expense by including a special "hidden" clip of the American LET ME IN film due in theaters October 1st. Where was this hidden clip? Well, that was the fun part. Somewhere on the web we were told. So at first we weren't keen at all to the idea of an American remake of the of the incredible Swedish vampire flick Let The Right One In. However, the more we see of Let Me In the more we are warming up to the idea. Over this weekend another poster was released along with the domestic trailer. Even after the dust settled I still think the Swedish horror film, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, is one of the best vampire movies to date. To be honest I did make a scowl the first time I read about an American remake titled LET ME IN.
